For the first time in over a decade, Cleveland State will open a season at home as the Vikings will welcome a pair of local programs in a unique format. CSU will host Case Western and John Carroll Friday, Nov. 1, at 7:00 p.m. The teams will face one another in a continuous, tri-dual format, featuring constant action on two mats.

The Vikings will then commence a stretch of three consecutive tournaments by heading to the Clarion Open (Nov. 3), the Ohio Intercollegiate Open (Nov. 10) and the Navy Classic (Nov. 23).

It will be the fifth time in six seasons that Cleveland State has opened its road schedule at the Clarion Open. CSU will head back to the Ohio Intercollegiate Open for the first time in three years and will contest Navy's event for the second straight year.

Cleveland State will open the month of December with its first-ever MAC dual as the Vikings head to Buffalo Friday, Dec. 6.

The Vikings will return home for the following two weekends. The program will host the 15th annual Cleveland State Open Saturday, Dec. 14, before hosting a MAC dual for the first time Friday, Dec. 20, against George Mason.

For the eighth time in nine seasons, the Vikings will ring in the New Year with a highly competitive tournament as the program heads to the Southern Scuffle Jan. 1-2.

Cleveland State will return to head-to-head action with a quad dual Friday, Jan. 10, at VMI. In addition to facing the host Keydets, the Vikings will face MAC foe Clarion along with California Baptist in their final multi-team event of the regular season.

A home matchup against Ohio Saturday, Jan. 18, opens a stretch of seven consecutive duals against MAC foes.

CSU will face a trio of squads on the road to close January, traveling to SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 24), Missouri (Jan. 25) and Kent State (Jan. 31).

The final month of the regular season will see the Vikings compete at home in three of their four duals. CSU welcomes Central Michigan (Feb. 2) and Northern Illinois (Feb. 7) before concluding MAC action at Bloomsburg (Feb. 14). Cleveland State will close the regular season by hosting Michigan State Sunday, Feb. 16.

The Vikings will compete at the Mid-American Conference Championships for the first time March 7-8. The 2020 event is being held at Northern Illinois.

The meetings with Case Western, California Baptist and Missouri, who finished last season among the top five nationally, will be the first in program history.
