CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State men's tennis head coach Brian Etzkin announced the addition of Nico Jamison (Greeley, Colo.) for the upcoming 2023-24 campaign, with Jamison set to join the Vikings next fall with four years of eligibility remaining.

"I'm tremendously excited to have Nico join the program next year, he's a fierce competitor, great team guy and likes to work," Etzkin said. "He will be a great tennis and culture fit for this team, and I think he will contribute immediately to an already deep and experienced team. We can't wait to see him wearing the Green & White!"

Jamison will join the Vikings after a successful prep career in which he has been a Top-50 player in the country according to TennisRecruiting.net.

In addition, he has been ranked as the top player in the state of Colorado, combining for a 41-23 singles record over the course of the year, including a trio of tournament wins.

So far this season, Jamison has advanced to the doubles semifinals at the Easter Bowl, while also earning a spot in the doubles round of 16 at the USTA Boys 18s National Championships at Kalamazoo.
