Cleveland State Men's Soccer Signs Marko Rimac

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State University head men's soccer coach Sinisa Ubiparipovic announced that Marko Rimac has joined the program this spring.

Rimac is a midfielder that hails from Kirtland, Ohio, and played his first two collegiate seasons at Bowling Green. In that time, he appeared in 13 games as a forward.

A graduate of Saint Ignatius High School, Rimac went undefeated in his varsity career and was part of a school-record 34-game winning streak to end his career. In 2019, he scored 11 goals and had five assists with his last one coming in the 4-0 state championship win. In the following season, he was named a team captain while scoring 15 goals, including one in the 4-1 state championship victory.

Rimac is the brother of current sophomore Viking, Josip Rimac.
