Cleveland State will welcome their second-ranked team of the year tomorrow when No. 13 Ohio State visits Krenzler Field at 7 p.m.

Previous Outing
The Vikings drew with Detroit in their league opener on the road Saturday evening, 1-1. Bojan Kolevski netted the lone goal for the Green and White in the 15th minute.

About Ohio State
The 13th-ranked Buckeyes are off to one of their best starts in program history with a 5-0-2 overall record and are coming off a 2-1 BIG 10 opening victory over No. 15 Indiana on Sunday.  Ohio State is outscoring teams 12-5 on the year and has four shutouts on the year. Marko Borkovic leads the offense with three goals and an assist for seven points. Anthony Samways has a team-best three assists. Keagan McLaughlin has started five games in goal, making 18 saves with four shutouts. Max Trejo has started the last two games in net for the Buckeyes and has just one save.

Series History
The Vikings lead the series 15-12-1 and are 7-3-0 on their home field against the Buckeyes. Last season, OSU won at home 2-0.

Jannis Schmidt and Pablo Kawecki sit atop the league in goals scored with four along with Josemir Gomez of IUPUI.

Horizon League Preseason Poll
Cleveland State was selected to finish second in the Horizon League Preseason Poll, as voted upon by league head coaches. Reigning Horizon League Champions, Oakland topped the Horizon League poll with six first-place votes for 93 points, while the Vikings brought in two first-place votes for 90 points. Milwaukee came in third with a first-place vote for 81 points and Wright State got the last first-place vote for 68 points.
