Opening Faceoff
Cleveland State will make their longest trip of the year on Saturday as they head to Colorado to take on Air Force in an ASUN game. The first faceoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. eastern time.

Learning the ASUN
The Vikings were picked to finish sixth in their inaugural season in the ASUN. Air Force and Utah are the co-favorites to win the regular-season championship with Robert Morris picked third. Cleveland State has faced four of the five teams in the ASUN under German; Bellarmine: (2-1), Air Force (1-0), Robert Morris (0-1), and Utah (0-1).

About the Falcons
Air Force enters the conference game with a 6-5 overall record and 1-1 mark in the ASUN. In their last game, the Falcons upended Detroit on the road, 13-4. The Falcons are led on the attack by Brandon Dodd with 32 goals and 16 assists while Brenden Crouse has 34 goals and 12 assists. Brian Michael is 83-of-185 in the faceoff circle with 44 ground balls. Reigning Defensive Player of the Week, Jason Rose has made 140 saves in the cage.

Series History
Cleveland State and Air Force will meet for the fifth time with each team winning twice. The last meeting came in 2020 at a neutral site in Denver, Colorado, with the Viking winning in overtime, 12-11.  

Record Game
Cameron Logan made a program-best 21 saves in the loss against Utah at home on Saturday.

Record Watch
Ryan Haigh has 25 goals on the year, one short of tying Tristan Hanna's record of 26 during the 2019 season.

Last Game Out
The Vikings dropped their second straight ASUN game against Utah by a final score of 15-11. This was the second straight conference game with the same scoreline.
