Wright State, which improved to 16-4 overall and 6-1 in Horizon League play, used a big run early in the second half to break open a close game, and the Vikings were not able to recover.

Junior Torrey Patton had a game-high 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting, including 2-of-4 from downtown. It was his third 20-point outing in the last six games, each of which has featured nine made field goals.

Holding a 17-13 lead about halfway through the first half, Wright State went on a 10-0 run to open up 27-13 advantage about three minutes later.

The Vikings cut that 14-point lead in half by the time halftime came around, aided by in part by six points from Patton, as Wright State took a 32-25 lead into the break.

Six straight points from CSU early in the second half, four by Patton and two from Eichelberger, drew the Vikings within four points at 37-33.

However, Wright State would reel off 13 straight points to take a 50-33 lead with 11 minutes remaining, and the Vikings were not able to get back into the game.
