We are on day #4 of the trip and it was jam packed with activities! First up on the schedule was practice...which we had at a local gym...not where we played the game last night though. Today, we didn't have the luxury of A/C in the gym, so it got hot. Luckily they had a few box fans sitting around which came in handy during breaks!
After practice we had a quick break for lunch before we set out on our bike tour of Florence! Now I'm pretty sure we picked the hottest day of the trip to go on this bike tour, but on we went!
We split up into three groups which was crucial for navigating the busy streets of Florence...because riding a bike through massive crowds of people, not the easiest thing!
During our bike tour we were able to see all of the sights of Florence like the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio Bridge, palaces, and churches.
After about 2 1/2 hours, we wrapped up the bike tour...luckily with no injuries!
Our final activity for the day was a boat tour on the Arno River. This was the perfect way to end the day, as we were able to see all the sights from our bike tour, but with the beautiful sunset as the backdrop. Talk about gorgeous!
Now we rest up for GAMEDAY #2 tomorrow!
