Justin Mulloy joined Cleveland State as Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing, Promotions & Fan Engagement in February 2020.
In his role at Cleveland State, Mulloy leads marketing efforts for all 18 of Cleveland State’s varsity athletic programs, along with directing game presentation and fan engagement elements. Mulloy also oversees the Vikings Internship Program, Cheer Squad, Pep Band, Dance Team, and Vicious Vikes student fan organization. Mulloy sits on the board for Cleveland State's Campus Signage and Review Committee, Magnus Fest, and Homecoming, and is the Horizon League conference representative for Marketing & Ticketing units.
Mulloy comes to Cleveland State having served on the athletics marketing staff at Dartmouth College since 2018. At Dartmouth, Mulloy most recently led marketing & promotions and game presentation for Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Men’s and Women’s Soccer. He also served as the lead for athletic team graphic creation and created the Dartmouth Marketing Game Day Internship program. He played a large role in the marketing and production of Dartmouth’s Yankee Stadium football game, and directed the marketing and promotions efforts of men’s and women’s basketball school day field trip games.
Prior to his time at Dartmouth College, Mulloy served as Athletics Graduate Assistant at Northwest Missouri State University and coached on the 2016 National Champion football team. Mulloy also completed internships in professional sports with the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Timberwolves.
Mulloy earned his undergraduate degree in Sport Management from the University of Minnesota in 2014 and received his Master of Science degree in Athletic Administration from Northwest Missouri State University in 2017. Mulloy also holds a Leadership certification from Harvard University.
