At CSU: In his 31st year coordinating the academic advising program for CSU student-athletes. Job involves assisting student-athletes in scheduling classes, monitor degree progress, arrange for tutors and other academic support and coordinate support services with other campus groups, including counseling and career services.
Joined Staff: October, 1984. Was hired to develop, implement, coordinate and direct CSU's first Athletic Academic Advising Program.
Previous Experience: High school counselor, teacher and football coach at Bishop David H.S. in Louisville, Ky., 1976-84.
Background: BA in Sociology, Purdue University, 1974, MS in Counseling & Guidance, Indiana University, 1984.
