A look at what's happening in Cleveland State Athletics…

Men's Soccer
-Cleveland State (1-0-1) opens Horizon League play this Saturday, September 14, at Oakland.
-The Vikings claimed a 4-0 win over Robert Morris in their home opener this past week, using goals from four different players in the win.
-The win was the first as a collegiate head coach for Sinisa Ubiparipovic.

Women's Soccer
-The Vikings (2-3-1) will return to Krenzler Field for a pair of matches this week, hosting Niagara on Thursday, September 12 and Canisius on Sunday, September 15.
-Last time out, Cleveland State posted an 0-2 record at the UTSA Tournament in San Antonio, Texas, facing UTSA and Rice in their first-ever matches against teams from the state of Texas.
-Kailah Ransom and Elena Gutlove were named to the UTSA All-Tournament Team.

Volleyball
-Cleveland State (2-4) will return to action at the Bluegrass Battle hosted by Kentucky this weekend, taking on No. 12 Kentucky and Indiana on Friday, September 13 and FGCU on Saturday, September 14.
-Last time out, the Vikings went 2-1 at the Hampton Inn Bowling Green Invitational, picking up wins against Butler and Charlotte before falling to the host Falcons.
-Trinniti Hall and Hannah Greene were named to the All-Tournament Team – Hall posting 54 kills on a .353 hitting percentage for the weekend, and Greene combining for 51 kills and 15 total blocks. 

Cross Country
-The Vikings will take a break from competition until later this month, when they return to the course at the All-Ohio Championship on Saturday, September 28.
-Last time out, Cleveland State participated in the Tommy Evans Invitational, led by junior Anna Brandt who finished fourth overall with a 5K time of 18:12.

Men's Golf
-Cleveland State returns to action at the Foe Feaganes Marshall Invitational this week, participating in the 54-hole tournament on Monday, September 9 and Tuesday, September 10.
-The Vikings opened the 2019-20 season by placing ninth at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate last time out, led by Zach Robbins who tied for seventh individually with a four-under par total of 212.
-Robbins posted a 66 on the final day of competition, a mark that is tied for the third-best round in school history.

Women's Golf
-The Vikings will continue their fall campaign at the Cardinal Classic this weekend, competing on Sunday, September 15 and Monday, September 16.
-Last time out, Cleveland State finished second at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational to begin the 2019-20 campaign, led by Madison Butler who finished fifth overall.
-Ashley Knight also posted a top-10 finish for the Vikings, as she tied for seventh at the two-day tournament.

Viking of the Week
Trinniti Hall, Volleyball
The senior was named to the Hampton Inn Bowling Green Invitational All-Tournament Team after posting 54 kills on a .353 hitting percentage on the weekend. Hall recorded double-digit kills in all three matches, including a 23-kill effort against Charlotte, while also posting nine total blocks for the tournament.
