Cleveland State Cross Country Set For NCAA Regionals

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team will wrap up the 2021 campaign this weekend, participating in the NCAA Regionals on Friday, November 12.

The women's 6K race is slated for a 12:00 p.m. EST start at Angels Mounds in Evansville, Ind.

The Vikings will be represented by seven runners this weekend; Emily Nemeth, Hannah Korte, Ariana Coats, Kiannah Sarver, Madelynn Madison, Savannah Shaver, and Kaelin Stahl

So Far This Season…
Through the first six races of the 2021 campaign the Vikings have posted a trio of top-three team finishes at the Tommy Titan Invite (2nd), Lansing Invite (3rd) and Jenna Strong Fall Classic (3rd).

…Individually This Season
Cleveland State has recorded eight top-15 individual finishes through six races, including a pair of top-five finishes from Hannah Korte (4th place at Lansing Invite) and Madelynn Madison (5th place at Wooster Invite). So far this season, Kiannah Sarver has been Cleveland State's top finisher three times, while Korte, Madison and Emily Nemeth have also paced the Vikings in races this year.
