COMPLETE RESULTS

Brandt's third place finish marks the best individual finish in program history, while her 6K time of 21:43 bettered her previous program record by 13 seconds.

With her third place finish, Brandt earned First Team All-Horizon League honors, becoming the first Viking all-time to earn First Team #HLXC accolades twice in their career.

"Unfortunately this wasn't the team result that we were looking for today, but everyone ran as hard as they could for the conditions, so we are leaving the course with no regrets," head coach Jason Hudson said. "The team is very young, so we will continue to improve off of this year's performance and only continue to get better. Five runners posted lifetime PR's, including Anna who ran an excellent race and solidified herself as one of the top runners in the league. We will now look forward to the NCAA Regional meet in two weeks, and continue our hard work and improvement throughout practice."

For the fifth time this season, Jessica Finley was the second Viking to cross the finish line, posting a 6K time of 22:43 to finish 27th overall.

Lily Michael and Olivia Hammons were the next two Vikings to finish, Michael posting a season-best 6K time of 23:43 to finish 52nd, and Hammons notching a time of 23:59 to finish 57th.

The freshman duo of Graicen Riley and Heather McArdle also improved on their 6K times from earlier this season, Riley posting a time of 24:13 and McArdle finishing in a time of 24:14. Finishing right along with this tandem was Kylie Scott, who notched a matching time of 24:13.

Abbey Rojeck ran the best 6K of her collegiate career Saturday, posting a personal-best time of 24:59.

The final two runners for the Vikings were Korrin Spurlock and Grace Holmes, who were both running in their first 6K races of the season. Spurlock finished with a time of 26:24, while Holmes posted a time of 26:33.

As a team, Cleveland State finished eighth, picking up 183 points under first-year head coach Jason Hudson.
