Last Time Out...
The Vikings tied their highest finish ever at the Horizon League Championship, bringing home a fourth place finish out of the 10-team field. The Vikings were paced by two top-10 finishers and an additional pair of top-40 runners, tying their finish from the 2011 season.

Brandt Named Freshman Of The Year
After notching a seventh place finish at the #HLXC Championship - the highest finish for a true freshman - Anna Brandt was named the Horizon League Freshman of the Year. Brandt, who crossed the finish line in a time of 22:52, was Cleveland State's top finisher and is the first Viking all-time to earn Freshman of the Year honors. Brandt's seventh place finish also earned her a spot on the All-Horizon League First Team - just the second Viking ever to earn the accolade.

Barrientos Picks Up Second Straight All-League Award
Senior Karen Barrientos became the first Viking all-time to earn All-Horizon League honors twice, picking up Second Team accolades after posting an eighth place finish at the 2017 #HLXC Championship.
