Last Time Out
After having to reorganize the weekend's schedule due to weather conditions in the Southeastern part of the United States, the Vikings competed at the Storm Invitational hosted by Lake Erie last Saturday. The race, which was scheduled to be a 6K, was shortened to a short-course race, with Karen Barrientos finishing the 4.3K course in a time of 16:43 to finish sixth overall. Ashlyn Woods also notched a top-10 finish placing ninth in a time of 17:03, while Olivia Hammons (17:57) rounded out the top-three finishers for Cleveland State.

Top-Two Viking Finishers
Through all six races so far this season the Vikings have had the same top-two finishers, as Karen Barrientos has been Cleveland State's top finisher and Ashlyn Woods has placed second in all six races. Barrientos has recorded top-30 individual finishes in all six races, including a first place finish at the LHU Invitational. Woods has finished among the top-55 individuals in every race so far this season, with a season-best finish coming last weekend.
