Last Time Out
For the second straight week, Cleveland State posted a top-five team finish, as the Vikings placed fourth at the LHU Invitational last weekend. Cleveland State had five top-40 finishers at the LHU Invitational, paced by the trio of Karen Barrientos (22:25-1st), Ashlyn Woods (23:05-13th), and Samantha Butterbaugh (23:47-31st).

Barrientos Wins LHU Invitational
For the first time under head coach Joe Jaketic a Viking brought home an individual title last weekend, as Karen Barrientos placed first at the LHU Invitational with a winning 6K time of 22:25. Barrientos' time marked a personal-best for the junior, while it is also tied for the second fastest 6K time since Jaketic took over in 2002. Barrientos is one of just two Horizon League runners to win a race this season, joining Oakland's Rachel Levy who captured the Golden Grizzly Open crown.
