CLEVELAND, Ohio – After leading Cleveland State volleyball to the semifinals of the 2022 Horizon League Tournament, freshman Laken Voss has been named to the #HLVB All-Tournament Team.
Voss, who was named the league's Freshman of the Year last week, combined for 30 kills and 20 digs through two tournament matches.
In Friday's first round contest against Milwaukee, Voss tallied 16 kills on a .308 hitting percentage, while also recording six digs and one block. Voss followed that up with her 12th double-double of the season against top-seeded Wright State in the semifinals, finishing with 14 kills and 14 digs to lead the Vikings.
Voss' 16 kills against the Panthers and 14 kills against the Raiders marked her 25th and 26th double-digit kill matches of the season, as she finished the year with a CSU Freshman Class Record of 389 kills.
For the season, Voss averaged a team-best 3.44 kills per set, while also averaging 2.43 digs per set as a six-rotation player.
