After dropping the first set, the Vikings rebounded during the second frame, picking up a 29-27 victory to even the match at 1-1 heading into the intermission.

During the second set the Vikings were able to overcome a six-point deficit late in the frame, and fended off five Wright State set points before earning a set point of their own on a WSU error. The Raiders then carried their momentum throughout the fourth and final frame, claiming a 25-20 victory to clinch the 3-1 match victory.
