The Vikings will take on the Jaguars in a 6:00 p.m. contest, while the matchup against the Panthers is set for a 2:00 p.m. start. Entering the week, Cleveland State stands at 16-8 overall this year and 10-2 in Horizon League play, and is currently on a four-match winstreak.

THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS
IUPUI | The Jaguars enter Wednesday's contest with a 5-21 overall record, including a 2-10 mark against Horizon League opponents. IUPUI is currently on an eight-match losing skid, last winning on September 29 when the Jaguars earned a 3-0 victory over YSU.

Earlier this season, the Vikings picked up a 3-0 win over IUPUI as part of their 6-0 start to #HLVB play.

Milwaukee | The Panthers currently stand at 8-17 overall this season and 7-5 in Horizon League play. Milwaukee has won five of its last six matches, and will take on IUPUI prior to Sunday's contest against the Vikings.

In the first matchup this season, Cleveland State earned a 3-1 victory against Milwaukee as part of its 6-0 start to #HLVB play.

CLEVELAND STATE IN THE HORIZON LEAGUE
The Vikings, who are playing in their 18th season of Horizon League play, entered the 2018 #HLVB season as the three-time defending Regular Season champions. Under head coach Chuck Voss, the Vikings own a 168-98 record in regular season Horizon League matches, and won a program-best 14 league contests two years ago. Cleveland State has captured five Regular Season Horizon League crowns (2009, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017), along with a handful of tournament titles (2007, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017).

…CLEVELAND STATE IN #HLVB PLAY THIS YEAR
After the first six weeks of regular season play, the Vikings stand at 10-2 in #HLVB action. Cleveland State started league play with six straight wins, marking the best start to league action under head coach Chuck Voss, and have won four straight entering Wednesday's match against IUPUI. Entering this week's matches, the Vikings are tied for first in the league standings.

VIKINGS CLIMBING THEIR WAY BACK TO THE TOP OF THE STANDINGS
After picking up a pair of wins against the top two teams in the league last weekend, Cleveland State has worked its way back to the top of the standings, entering Wednesday's match in a tie for first place with a 10-2 #HLVB record. The Vikings are currently riding a four-match winstreak, eclipsing the double-digit win mark in league play for the fourth straight season with the 3-0 sweep over the Phoenix last time out.

2018 SENIOR DAY
Sunday's contest against Milwaukee will serve as Senior Night for Cleveland State, as the Vikings will honor the duo of Rachael Dohar and Rachel Stover prior to the match. This tandem has led the Vikings to three straight Horizon League Regular Season and Tournament titles, while helping Cleveland State to an 89-29 record during their careers.

CHASING A 20-WIN SEASON
With four more regular season matches left to play, the Vikings are just four wins shy of their ninth 20-win season under head coach Chuck Voss, and their 18th 20-win season in program history. With four more wins, the Vikings would notch their fourth straight 20-win season, marking the third time that Cleveland State has recorded four straight 20-win campaigns in program history.

SKEENS NAMED #HLVB OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Earlier this week, junior Sara Skeens picked up her second weekly honor of the 2018 season, earning Offensive Player of the Week accolades after leading the Vikings to a pair of wins over UIC and Green Bay. For the weekend, Skeens averaged 4.12 kills per set on a .333 hitting percentage, helping the Vikings knock off the top two teams in the league standings. Skeens posted 16 kills against UIC and 17 kills against Green Bay - marking team-highs with both performances.

DOHAR CHASING CAREER MILESTONE
After combining for 42 digs against UIC and Green Bay last time out, Rachael Dohar currently has 918 digs for her career - leading all current Vikings in the category. Dohar, who has been serving as Cleveland State's libero this season, is averaging 4.96 digs per set, ranking third among league players. For the year, Dohar has tallied 11 20-dig matches, including a career-high 30-dig performance against Bowling Green earlier this year.

…CRACKS CSU SINGLE-SEASON TOP-10
With her 16 digs against Green Bay last time out, Rachael Dohar cracked the top-10 list in the CSU Single-Season Record Book, entering the week ranked 10th with 456 total digs this season. This is the second straight season that the Viking libero has earned a spot in the top-10 list, while Dohar needs just 44 more digs to become the fourth Viking all-time to notch a 500-dig campaign.

GREENE ON THE BLOCK
Entering the weekend, sophomore Hannah Greene continues to lead the Horizon League in blocks, averaging 1.45 blocks per set. Greene, who has combined for 133 total blocks this year, also ranks 16th nationally with her 1.45 blocks per set average. Greene has recorded three or more blocks in 23 of the 24 matches so far this season, including a career-high tying 10-block performance against UIC last weekend.

…AND IN THE CSU RECORD BOOK
With her 133 total blocks, Hannah Greene now ranks ninth in the CSU Single-Season Record Book as one of just nine Vikings all-time with 130+ total blocks on a single season. Out of the 133 total blocks, 122 have been block assists for Greene, as she also ranks sixth in that category. Greene is the first Viking since the 2015 campaign to crack the top-10 in either category.

GRECOL LEADING THE VIKING OFFENSE
So far this season, Cleveland State's offense has been led by freshman Christina Grecol, who enters the weekend with 881 total helpers on the year. Grecol, who is the first freshman to lead the Viking offense as the primary setter since Jordan Goad in 2008, currently ranks second among Horizon League players averaging 10.01 assists per set in all matches. For the season, Grecol has notched 50 or more assists on three occasions, including a career-high mark of 57 against UIC last weekend.

#HLVB WEEKLY HONORS
So far this season the Vikings have been honored five times by the Horizon League, picking up four Offensive Player of the Week honors and one Defensive Player of the Week accolade. Following the first week of league play, the Vikings swept the weekly #HLVB awards, as Trinniti Hall was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Rachael Dohar was named the Defensive Player of the Week. Sara Skeens picked up Cleveland State's third weekly honor, earning the offensive nod on October 1, while Hall earned her second accolade of the year last week and Skeens was named the Offensive Player of the Week once again this past Monday.

HEAD COACH CHUCK VOSS
Chuck Voss is in his 19th season at the helm of the Vikings, and owns a 353-211 (.625) overall record at CSU. Under Voss the Vikings have recorded 15 winning seasons, including nine straight entering the 2018 season. Cleveland State has eclipsed the 20-win mark eight times since Voss took over the program, and has captured Horizon League Tournament titles five times (2007, 2012, 2015, 2016 & 2017) under his guidance. During the 2016 season, Voss became the all-time winningest coach in program history and became the the only active Horizon League coach to reach the 300-win mark at their current school.

UP NEXT
Cleveland State will wrap up the regular season next weekend, traveling to Wright State (Friday, November 9) and Northern Kentucky (Saturday, November 10) for the final two #HLVB regular season matches of the year.
