CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will continue the indoor slate this weekend, participating in the Mastodon Invitational on Saturday, January 22.
Saturday's meet will mark the third of seven competitions for the Vikings during the indoor campaign, and will mark the first meet of the season for Emily Nemeth and Margaret Smith.

Last time out, Dynesty Ervin picked up a pair of runner-up finishes at the Marshall Women's Classic, finishing second in both the 200 Meter Dash and 400 Meter Dash to lead the Vikings. So far this season, Cleveland State has posted seven top-10 individual finishes through two meets.

Saturday will mark the third meet during the Jason Hudson era, as Hudson took over the reigns of the program back in August. After serving as the head cross country coach since 2018, Hudson was promoted to head coach cross country and track & field prior to the 2021-22 academic year.
