Gaskins Wins High Jump Event At Fred Hardy Invitational

RICHMOND, Va. – The Cleveland State track and field team began competition at the Fred Hardy Invitational Friday, led by Hannah Gaskins who won the High Jump event.

Field
Hannah Gaskins was the lone field competitor for the Vikings on the first day of action, winning the High Jump event with a mark of 1.60. This marks the fourth time that Gaskins has recorded a mark of 1.60 or better during her career, while it is the second time this season that she has surpassed the mark.

Mid-Distance
Mijah Collier represented Cleveland State in the 400 Meter Hurdles, crossing the finish line in a career-best time of 1:06.93 to finish 11th overall. The Vikings also participated in the 1500 Meter Run, paced by Heather McArdle who finished in a time of 5:02.59, the fourth fastest time in program history. Graicen Riley (5:04.31), Lily Michael (5:11.02) and Grace Holmes (5:18.83) were also in the 1500 field.
