YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Cleveland State track and field student-athlete Jessica Finley was the lone Viking in action on day one of the 2017 Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championship Friday, running in the 10000 Meter Run.
The 10000 Meter Run was the only track event held on the opening day, with Finley placing 16th in a time of 39:36.70.
Friday's race marked the first 10000 Meter Run for Finley of the outdoor season, while it was also her lone event of the 2017 Horizon League Championship.
Action will continue tomorrow (Saturday, May 6), with track events set to begin at 4:00 p.m. on the Youngstown State University campus.
