INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League has announced its Track and Field All-Academic Teams this afternoon, with Cleveland State junior Samantha Butterbaugh earning a spot on the 24-member team.

Butterbaugh, who has been Cleveland State's top 800 Meter and 1500 Meter runner this spring, owns a 3.92 GPA pursuing a degree in health sciences. Butterbaugh has been honored at the CSU Athletics Academic Honors luncheon every year of her Viking career, while she was also recently named the Cleveland State University Student Employee of the Year.

The Stoutsville, Ohio native has been named to the Cleveland State Dean's List five semesters – every grading period of her collegiate career.

As a three-season student-athlete, Butterbaugh also competes on the cross country team, owning multiple top-40 5K and 6K times in the CSU career record book.
