CLEVELAND, Ohio -- It took less than a day for the Vikings to turn their conference game around, rallying from Sunday's 4-3 loss to Detroit to issue Valparaiso a 7-0 sweep on Monday night.

Cleveland State found its footing in doubles play against the Crusaders, posting decisive wins at all three spots to secure the first point.

From then on the Vikings continued to roll, sweeping the entire singles lineup in straight sets.

Sophomore Jackie Tabb capped off a solid weekend performance against Horizon League opponents with her 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4. In CSU's last three matches against Youngstown State, Detroit, and Valparaiso, Tabb finished a combined 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles with partner Melissa Holzinger.

Classmate Sanda Bjelan joined Tabb at the 3-0, 2-1 mark for the weekend as well.

"The women did an excellent job today of working on the process of constructing points," said Cleveland State coach Brian Etzkin. "I am very pleased we were able to focus and use today's competition to our advantage. Especially our doubles looked sharp and very aggressive, and this will only benefit us in the conference matches to come."

With the win, CSU improves its overall record to 12-8 and 2-1 in the Horizon League.

Next in line for the Vikings is a trip to Wisconsin on Saturday, April 4, where they will face Green Bay at 7:00 p.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m. match at Milwaukee on Sunday.
