AMES, Iowa - The Cleveland State women's tennis team completed its spring break trip with a 6-0 victory over South Dakota on Thursday afternoon at Iowa State.

The six singles matches were played first due to time constraints on the court and the doubles matches were not played as a result of the match already being decided.

The Vikings moved everyone up in the order as Catrine Bjerrehus, CSU's normal No. 1 player, sat out the match. All six players won their matches in straight sets, including a 6-3, 7-5 win by Maria Lazaris at No. 1 singles. It was her second win at the No. 1 position in as many attempts.
