LAIE, Hawaii - Junior Jenn Myers and sophomore Kristin Chamberlain won at No. 3 doubles but that was all the Vikings could manage in a 7-0 loss to BYU-Hawaii on Thursday. CSU concluded its four-match spring break trip in Hawaii with a trip 1-3 record and are now 10-8 on the season.

Myers and Chamberlain won, 8-1, over Shenley Searing and Teresa Holmes but the Seasiders, the nation's top-ranked NAIA team, won the first two doubles matches by large margins to take the doubles point.

No Viking won a set in singles play. Junior Lindsay Sellers put up the biggest fight at No. 4 singles before falling to Anna Anikanova 6-3, 7-5. The Seasiders won five of 12 sets by a 6-0 count.

"Their singles players, especially the top three, were the best we will see all season," head coach Brian Etzkin said. "BYU was on a different level."

Cleveland State is done for the month of March and will return to action with a home contest on April 6 against defending Horizon League champion UIC. First serve is set for 3:00 p.m. at the Malaga Tennis Center.
