ORLANDO, Florida - The Cleveland State women's tennis team won the doubles point and three singles matches to defeat Radford in the final match of their Orlando spring training trip. The win puts the Vikings at 11-4 on the season.

The women won at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles to claim the doubles point. Senior Jenn Myers won 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and sophomore Charlotte Gibbons won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 5 singles. Freshman Sanda Bjelan defeated Ashton Downs, 3-6, 7-6 (1), 6-3 at No. 4 singles to clinch the victory.

"This win put us at 2-1 for the trip and really prepares us for conference play," assistant coach Mark Barry said. "Playing outdoors will help us in preparation for league play and the conference tournament."

The Vikings open conference play at Detroit on Friday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m.
