HAMILTON, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's tennis team was back in action Saturday, dropping a 6-1 contest at Miami (Ohio).
Cleveland State's lone point on the day came from Ella Franz at No. 5 singles, as she posted a 6-1, 6-7(7), 6-3 victory over Sarah Dev. This marks the fourth win of the spring season for Franz.
Despite dropping the doubles point, the Vikings were able to pick up a win at the No. 3 spot, with Franz and Tereze Vevere posting a 6-4 victory over a Miami duo. With the win, the tandem now has a team-best 20-3 record on the year.
Cleveland State will be back in action on Wednesday, March 13, traveling south to the state of Florida to face USF.
