CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team will close out regular season play at home this weekend, hosting Oakland on Saturday, April 22.

The Vikings picked up a pair of wins at IUPUI (5-2) and Northern Kentucky (5-2), improving to 13-7 overall and 4-1 in Horizon League play.  

Vikings Sweep #HLTennis Weekly Awards | Full Release 
Earlier this week the Vikings swept the Horizon League Weekly Awards, with Oihane Vicario earning Singles Player of the Week and Tereze Vevere/Ella Franz being named the Doubles Team of the Week. This marked the third time this season that Cleveland State has swept the weekly awards, while it marked a league-best four weekly award for Vicario. 

Vicario Remains Perfect In #HLTennis Singles Play | Statistics
After picking up a pair of wins at IUPUI and Northern Kentucky last weekend, Oihane Vicario remained perfect in Horizon League singles play, improving to 5-0 on the year. Vicario, who has played the entire spring season at No. 1 singles, enters the final week of regular season play standing at 9-1 all-time against #HLTennis opponents in regular season matches. 

…Vevere & Franz Remain Perfect In #HLTennis Doubles Play | Statistics
Cleveland State's No. 3 doubles team of Tereze Vevere and Ella Franz also remained perfect in Horizon League play last time out, improving to 4-0 in #HLTennis matches following a pair of wins at IUPUI and Northern Kentucky. For the season, the duo has a team-best 14-3 overall record, including a 10-3 mark when playing at No. 3 doubles this spring. With one more win, Vevere and Franz will be tied for 10th on the CSU Single-Season Doubles Wins List.
