Last Time Out…
The Vikings picked up a pair of wins over Wright State (4-3) and Northern Kentucky (6-1) last weekend, extending their current winstreak to four straight matches. The Vikings are now 6-1 in Horizon League play and enter the final weekend of regular season play tied for second place in the league standings.

Spindler Named #HLWTEN Singles Player of the Week
For the second time this season junior Isabella Spindler was honored by the Horizon League, as she picked up Singles Player of the Week honors after going 2-0 at No. 1 singles last weekend. Spindler, who picked up wins over WSU and NKU to improve to 6-1 against league opponents this year, has now won seven of her last eight matches. For the season, Spindler owns a team-best 18-12 singles record, and stands at 12-8 this spring.

…Schober & Schoenberg Named #HLWTEN Doubles Team of the Week
The Vikings also picked up Doubles Team of the Week accolades from the Horizon League on Monday, as Jana Schober and Gaby Schoenberg earned the honor after their performance at No. 2 doubles last weekend. Schober and Schoenberg went 2-0 at the No. 2 spot, helping the Vikings pick up the crucial doubles point against WSU and NKU. The duo was playing as a tandem for the first time this spring, owning a perfect 2-0 record in league play.

Golawska On The CSU Singles Wins List
Senior Aleksandra Golawska added to her career win total with a win at No. 3 singles against NKU last weekend, entering this weekend's roadswing ranked ninth on the CSU Singles Wins List with 68 career singles victories. Golawska, who has a 16-13 overall record this season, is one of just nine Vikings all-time to eclipse 65 career victories. Golawska is now one win shy of moving into eighth place, and two wins shy of becoming the eighth Viking all-time to reach the 70-win milestone.

Schober Closing In On 50 Career Singles Wins
Following a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 victory against Northern Kentucky at No. 4 singles last time out, Jana Schober continues to climb closer to the 50-win mark for her career, entering the final two matches of the regular season with 46 career victories. Schober, who owns a 14-11 record this year, would become the 15th Viking all-time to achieve the feat and the second current Viking to join the 50-win club (Aleksandra Golawska).

Head Coach Brian Etzkin
Brian Etzkin is in his 16th year at the helm of the Vikings, owning a 209-196 dual match record. During his tenure, Etzkin has guided Cleveland State to three Horizon League Regular Season titles and three Horizon League Championship match appearances.

Vikings Selected Third In Preseason Poll
Earlier this season, Cleveland State was selected to finish third in the Horizon League Preseason poll, collecting 63 points to finish behind UIC and Youngstown State. Since the league began releasing preseason polls six years ago, the Vikings have now earned a top-three selection five times.

Scouting The Jaguars
IUPUI enters Saturday's contest with a 4-15 record on the spring, including a 0-6 mark against league opponents. The Jaguars' last victory came as a 4-3 decision over Butler back in early February.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two teams under head coach Brian Etzkin, with the Vikings owning a slight 2-1 advantage in the series.

Scouting The Flames
UIC enters the weekend standing at 12-6 overall this season and 6-1 in league play, and is currently on a five-match winstreak. The Flames, who were picked to win in the Horizon League preseason poll, are currently tied for second place in the league standings with the Vikings.

This will be the 21st meeting between the two teams over the last 16 seasons with UIC owning a 16-4 advantage, but Cleveland State enters Sunday's match having won the last four matchups.
