Last Time Out…
The Vikings dropped a hard fought 4-3 match to Akron, dropping just their seventh match all-time when playing in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion. All three of Cleveland State's points came from the singles lineup, as Isabella Spindler (No. 1), Aleksandra Golawska (No. 3) and Jana Schober (No. 4) posted victories against the Zips.

Golawska Adds To Career Win Total
With a 6-3, 6-3 victory against Akron last time out, senior Aleksandra Golawska added to her career win total, and is now in sole possession of ninth place on the CSU Singles Wins List with 63 career victories. Golawska, who has won five out of her last six matches, stands at 11-9 overall this year and owns a 5-6 mark this spring. Golawska is one of just 10 Vikings all-time to eclipse 60 career wins, and is six wins shy of moving into eighth place on the CSU Singles Wins List.

Schober Enters Roadtrip On Five-Match Winstreak
Senior Jana Schober enters the Spring Break Trip on a five-match winstreak, owning a 5-1 singles record this spring. Schober, who missed six matches due to injury earlier this year, owns the team's longest active winstreak. Entering Tuesday's match at Barry, Schober has 41 career wins, and is just nine wins shy of becoming the 15th Viking all-time to reach 50 career wins.

Closing Out Non-League Play
This week's matches against FIU and Barry will mark the last two non-league contests for the Vikings this season, as Cleveland State will begin its nine-match Horizon League slate when the Vikings return to Cleveland next week. So far this season, the Vikings own a 4-8 record against non-league opponents, with all four wins coming over the last six matches.

Head Coach Brian Etzkin
Brian Etzkin is in his 16th year at the helm of the Vikings, owning a 203-193 dual match record. During his tenure, Etzkin has guided Cleveland State to three Horizon League Regular Season titles and three Horizon League Championship match appearances.
