Vikings On The Top-10 Singles Wins List
Entering Saturday's match at Akron, the senior duo of Victoria Bensimon and Princess Gbadamosi rank seventh and ninth, respectively, on the CSU Singles Wins list. Bensimon, who has a team-best 6-3 record this spring, has 65 career wins, while Gbadamosi picked up her 60th career victory earlier this season. Bensimon and Gbadamosi mark the eighth and ninth Vikings all-time to eclipse the 60-win mark.

Closing In On Win #50
Junior Aleksandra Golawska enters Saturday's contest just five wins shy of marking the 50th singles victory of her career. Golawska, who owns a 9-8 singles record this season, would become the 14th Viking all-time to reach the 50-win milestone. Golawska would also join teammates Victoria Bensimon and Princess Gbadamosi in the exclusive 50-win club.

Spindler & Golawska Pick Up 20th Doubles Win
Earlier this season, the No. 1 doubles team of Isabella Spindler and Aleksandra Golawska picked up their 20th victory as a doubles team, becoming just the ninth Viking tandem all-time to reach the 20-win mark. Spindler and Golawska have a team-best 10-9 record this season, and currently rank seventh on the CSU Doubles Wins List.

Head Coach Brian Etzkin
Brian Etzkin is in his 15th year with the Vikings, owning a 189-181 dual match record. During his tenure, Etzkin has guided Cleveland State to a pair of Horizon League Regular Season titles (2014 & 2016), and three Horizon League Championship Match appearances.

Scouting The Zips
Akron enters the weekend with a 9-2 record this spring, and will take on Duquesne prior to Saturday's contest against the Vikings. The Zips are currently on an eight-match winstreak, and own a perfect 2-0 mark when playing at home.

This will be the 12th meeting between the two teams over the last 15 seasons, with Akron owning a 7-4 record in the overall series. Last season, the Vikings earned a 4-3 victory over the Zips in the first-ever match to be played in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
