Bensimon & Golawska Pick Up Singles Wins On Final Day Of WMU Super Challenge

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Cleveland State women's tennis team wrapped up its fall season Sunday, playing one round of singles matches at the WMU Super Challenge.

Victoria Bensimon and Aleksandra Golawska both picked up a singles win on the day, with Golawska finishing the weekend with a perfect 3-0 singles mark.

Bensimon earned her final victory of the weekend in a 6-0, 6-4 decision over Michigan State's Samantha Memije. With the win, the senior is now tied for ninth on the CSU Singles Wins List with 59 career singles victories.

Golawska's win came over Aslina Chua of Michigan State, as she earned a 6-1, 6-4 victory in her final match of the weekend. For the fall season, Golawska posted a team-best 7-4 singles record.
