Vikings Start League Play With 5-0 Record
After last Friday's 4-3 victory over Youngstown State, the Vikings are off to a perfect 5-0 start in Horizon League play – marking the first time under head coach Brian Etzkin that the Vikings have picked up five straight wins to start league play. Prior to this season, Cleveland State's best start to league play was 4-0, a mark that the Vikings recorded during the 2011-12 and 2009-10 seasons.

…And Extend Winstreak To Seven Straight Matches
Entering the weekend Cleveland State is on a seven-match winning streak, marking the longest winstreak for the Vikings under head coach Brian Etzkin. During this stretch, five of Cleveland State's wins have come at home, as they own a 7-2 record while playing in Cleveland this season. The Vikings' three wins last weekend put them over the 10-win plateau for the season, marking the 12th time that Cleveland State has posted double-digit wins under Etzkin.

Bensimon Closing In On 50 Career Wins
After going 3-0 in singles play last weekend, junior Victoria Bensimon is just one win shy of becoming the 13th Viking all-time to record 50 career singles victories. Bensimon, who enters Saturday's match against Milwaukee on a seven-match winstreak, would be the second Viking to achieve the feat this season, joining senior Mathilde Orange who recorded her 50th career victory against Detroit earlier this year.

…Gbadamosi Not Far Behind
Princess Gbadamosi is also closing in on the 50-win mark, entering the weekend with 47 career singles victories. After getting off to a slow start this spring, Gbadamosi has picked up her play as of late, winning five of her last seven singles matches. Gbadamosi, who has been playing in the top half of the singles lineup this spring, would become the 14th Viking all-time to join the 50-win club.

Orange Closing In On CSU Singles Wins List
After eclipsing the 50-win mark earlier this season, Mathilde Orange is now closing in on the top-10 CSU Singles Wins List, currently owning 52 career victories. With two weeks left in the regular season, Orange needs just three more wins to crack the top-10, and would be the first player to do so over the last two seasons.

Vikings In The MMTP
Entering the weekend Cleveland State is undefeated in its new on-campus home, owning a 6-0 record in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion. So far this season the Vikings have notched wins over Akron (4-3), Wright State (4-3), Northern Kentucky (6-1), Youngstown State (4-3), IUPUI (6-1), and Oberlin (6-1) in the MMTP.

Scouting The Panthers
Milwaukee enters Saturday's contest with a 9-8 overall record and a 3-2 mark in Horizon League action. The Panthers split their two matches last weekend, falling to UIC (4-3) and defeating Valparaiso (7-0). Saturday's contest at Cleveland State will be the start of a four-match roadswing for the Panthers to close out the regular season.

This will be the 16th meeting between the two teams over the past 13 seasons, with Cleveland State owning a 13-2 record in the overall series.

Scouting The Phoenix
Green Bay enters the weekend with a 1-14 overall record and a 0-5 mark in Horizon League play. The Phoenix, who will face Youngstown State prior to Sunday's match against the Vikings, picked up their lone win of the season in a 4-3 decision over Olivet Nazarene last month.

Cleveland State also owns a 13-2 record against the Phoenix under head coach Brian Etzkin, as the Vikings entering Sunday's match with 13 straight victories against Green Bay.
