Cleveland State University swimming & diving welcomes Sasha Innis from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Innis swam for Westmont Hilltop High School and the Greater Johnstown YMCA Swim Team.
Innis was the 2022 and 2023 PIAA District 6 champion in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events. She was also named CWAAC First Team All-Conference in those years. Innis was a four-time state qualifier and is the record holder in the 50-yard freestyle.
"I chose Cleveland State because of the academic programs, research opportunities, and campus life. I also fell in love with the team and the program's deep history."
Outside the pool, Innis was a member of the National Honor Society all four years and was part of the Key Club.
As a member of her club team, Innis was a 2023 and 2024 national qualifier and is the current record holder for five events.
Innis plans to major in health sciences (pre-physician assistant) and is the daughter of Jeff and Stephanie Innis.
