Mackenzie Draine

Mackenzie Draine is in her first season as an assistant softball coach at Cleveland State.

She arrived at CSU after serving as an assistant coach at Coker College for three seasons. During her three seasons at Coker, she helped six players earn all-conference honors.

Draine went to Coker after serving as the assistant softball coach at Volunteer HS in Tennessee. She helped guide her team to conference and regional titles, as well as the school's first sub-state appearance since 2006.

A native of Church Hill, Tenn., Draine was a standout softball player at King University from 2009-13. She helped lead the Tornado to a Conference Carolinas softball tournament championship (2012), a NCAA Southeast Regional appearance (2012) and a Conference Carolinas regular season championship (2013).

Draine graduated from King in 2013 with a bachelor of arts degree in interdisciplinary studies and a minor in elementary education.
