CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State softball team dropped the series opener to Oakland, 16-2, on Tuesday afternoon at Viking Field.
CSU is now 13-26 overall and 3-9 in the Horizon League, while Oakland improved to 14-22 overall and 8-6 in the League.
Bailee Gray had an RBI for the Vikings, while Jordan Humitz and Talia Minisall scored runs.
The teams will conclude the three game series with a doubleheader on Wednesday with the first game at 12:00 pm.
