CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State junior Susan Knight has been named the Horizon League Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 23-29, marking the second weekly award of the season for Knight.

It is also the third time this season that a CSU pitcher has earned the honor.

In her one appearance last week, Knight led the Vikings to an 8-0 win in five innings over Niagara in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader. She allowed just one hit and two total baserunners, facing one batter over the minimum, while striking out two.

Knight is 7-4 this season with a 2.20 ERA and four complete games. She has fanned 42 and walked just 11 batters in 60.1 innings of work.

The Vikings return to action on Tuesday (March 31) when CSU travels to Morehead State for a doubleheader. The first game is slated to start at 2:00 p.m.
