CLEVELAND, Ohio - Nena Doran delivered a walk-off RBI single in game one and Alex Radjen threw a complete-game four-hitter in game two as Cleveland State swept a doubleheader from Toledo on Tuesday afternoon in the CSU Dome.

Doran's walk-off single gave CSU a 5-4 win in the opener, while the Vikings earned a 5-0 shutout in game two.

The two wins improved CSU to 12-10 this year, while Toledo slipped to 8-18.

Toledo jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the opener with an unearned run in the first, but the Vikings came back to take a 3-1 lead in the third on Erica McNew's three-run home run to centerfield.

It was McNew's 20th career homer, making her the fifth player in school history to reach 20 homers in a career.

Darien Ward delivered an RBI single in the fourth to score Hannah Yoe who led off the inning with a triple to make it 4-1, but the Rockets came back with three runs in the fifth to knot the contest at 4-4.

CSU won it on Doran's RBI single in the seventh, scoring Ward who led off the inning with a single and moved to third on a Janessa Rivera-Keahi bunt and Toledo error.

Susan Knight earned the win and improved to 5-8 this year, firing her ninth complete game this season. She scattered seven hits and gave up just one earned run, while striking out six.

Doran finished the first game with three hits, while Ward, McNew and Cynthia Woodard had two hits each.

The nightcap belonged to Radjen as she fired her first shutout of the season, giving up just four hits and fanning eight.

Neither Radjen nor Knight walked a batter today.

The Vikings gave Radjen a 2-0 cushion with a pair of runs in the first on RBI singles from McNew and Alyson Broschk. The duo came through again in the fifth as McNew had an RBI groundout and Broschk coming through with a two-run, two-out double to give CSU a 5-0 lead.

Broschk finished game two 2-for-3 with three RBI, while Woodard went 2-for-2 and scored two runs.

CSU is scheduled to return to action this weekend with a three-game Horizon League series against Youngstown State at Viking Field.
