INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-  On Monday afternoon, sophomore Susan Knight earned Horizon League Pitcher of the Week honors.

The Vikings (3-1) opened up the 2014 season, who played a pair of games on Saturday and Sunday at the second annual CSU Dome Tournament.  Knight went 1-1 over the weekend, striking out eight total batters on 14.0 innings of work.  Against Bucknell, Knight pitched a three hit complete game shutout, striking out four and did not allow a walk in the game.  In a 1-0 loss to Robert Morris, Knight tallied four more strikeouts in seven innings and only allowed three hits.

CSU will be back on the diamond on Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 15-16) as the team will travel to Charlotte, N.C.  The Vikings will play a doubleheader on both days, starting with Drexel.  First pitch will be at 10:00 a.m.  and at noon, CSU will face Charlotte.  On Sunday, the team will finish out with Seton Hall (10:00 a.m.) and will face Drexel (12:00 p.m.) for a second time.
