BEST #HLWSOC START IN PROGRAM HISTORY:
• Entering this week's matchup against Detroit Mercy and Wright State, the Vikings are off to their best #HLWSOC start in program history, owning a 5-0-1 mark through six league matches.
• Cleveland State is one of just two unbeaten teams remaining in the Horizon League, joining Milwaukee who stands at 6-0-0.

LAST WEEK:
• Cleveland State remained perfect during the month of October, earning a 2-1 overtime victory against Northern Kentucky to gain sole possession of second place in the #HLWSOC standings.
McKenna Vento scored the game-tying goal in the 79th minute, while Jenna Prathapa notched the game-winner in overtime. Sarah Krause (2) and Dani Sowinski recorded the assists on Cleveland State's two goals, while the Vikings improved to 7-1 at Krenzler Field this season.

FREE KICKS:
• Head coach Dallas Boyer, in his second season in the top spot, has been on the coaching staff for 12 of the 15 seasons in program history.
• Cleveland State enters the week as one of two remaining unbeaten teams in the Horizon League, joining Milwaukee (6-0-0).
• The Vikings enter the week on a four-match winstreak, marking the third time in program history that they have been able to string together four straight wins.
• Cleveland State is also unbeaten in its last six matches, which is tied for the longest unbeaten streak in program history (also went 5-0-1 during 2013).
• With an overall record of 9-4-1, the Vikings enter the final stretch of regular season play just one win shy of tying the program record for wins in a season. Cleveland State has tallied 10 wins just once before, doing so during the 2011 campaign when the Vikings finished 10-7-2.
• As a team, the Vikings enter the week ranked second among league teams with 27 total goals this season, while they also rank second averaging 1.93 goals per game.
• Cleveland State's 27 goals ranks second in program history for a single-season, while the Vikings are just one goal shy of tying the record with at least three more matches this season (28 in 2014).
• On the defensive side of the ball, Cleveland State's backline has given up the fewest goals in league play, allowing just three goals through the first six regular season matches.
• Last time out, senior Dani Sowinski tallied her eighth assist of the season, setting a program record for single-season helpers. For her career, Sowinski ranks second in the CSU Record Book with 13 total assists.
• Entering the week, McKenna Vento is at the top of the league standings with six total goals this year, a mark that puts her fifth in the CSU Single-Season Record book.
• Vento is also tied for fifth in the CSU Career Record book with 12 career goals.
• After playing sparingly over the last five matches due to injury, sophomore Jenna Prathapa is getting back to her usual form, as she posted the game-winner in overtime against NKU last time out. This marked Prathapa's fourth goal of the season, while it marked the 10th of her career, making her just the ninth Viking all-time with double-digit goals.
Stevie Holbrook enters the weekend with 48 total saves on the year, and ranks second in the Horizon League with a .814 save percentage.
• Following a pair of assists on both of Cleveland State's goals against NKU, Sarah Krause enters the week with a team-high 14 points on the season and is tied for third among league players in the category.

UP NEXT:
• Cleveland State will close out the regular season at Milwaukee next weekend, taking on the Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26.
