Vikings Earn 0-0 Draw At Duquesne

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Cleveland State women's soccer team wrapped up its exhibition slate Thursday evening, earning a 0-0 draw at Duquesne. The two teams played two 45-minute periods, with no overtime.

Stevie Holbrook played just over 60 minutes in goal for the Vikings, picking up two saves and earning the draw, while Kendra Clarke also notched two saves in just under 30 minutes of action.

Offensively, Jenna Prathapa recorded two shots on goal, while Bianca Sarti and Dani Sowinski each added one.

Both teams finished the contest with seven shots and five corner kicks.  

Cleveland State will open the 2018 season with a pair of home games next weekend, hosting Howard on Friday, August 17 and Chicago State on Sunday, August 19.
