KENT, Ohio - Freshman Jenna Prathapa scored her second goal in as many games and freshman Grace Grant added her first career goal as Cleveland State won at Kent State, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon at Dix Stadium.
CSU improved to 1-1 this year, while the Golden Flashes fell to 0-2.

• Today's win was the second for CSU against Kent State in program history with the other win coming in 2009. The teams have now played 11 times.
• First-year head coach Dallas Boyer earned his first win on the sidelines for CSU. Boyer spent the last 11 seasons as an assistant coach for the Vikings.
• Kent State held a 14-8 advantage in shots and an 8-1 lead in corner kicks. The Vikings were whistled for 12 fouls to just four for Kent State.
• Daniels, Essence Canady and Toni Dickson all played 90 minutes for CSU, the second straight match that the trio played the entire game.
