Women's Soccer Earns Sixth Seed in League Championship

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's soccer team will be the sixth seed in the 2014 Horizon League Championship and will open play with a first round match at third-seeded Oakland on Monday (Nov. 3) at 7:00 p.m.

The Vikings, led by first-year head coach Sonia Curvelo, will be making their first appearance in the league championship since 2011.

CSU concluded its regular season last week with an 8-8-2 overall mark and a 3-4-1 record in the league. The Vikings had to wait until the final league games were concluded on Friday night to find out they qualified. CSU clinched a spot when Oakland defeated Wright State.
