    •    Cleveland State opens Horizon League play with a pair of matches this week.
    •    The week begins with a 3:00 p.m. match at Detroit on Wednesday (Sept. 24) and concludes when CSU hosts Valparaiso at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 27) at Krenzler Field.
    •    The Vikings are 5-4-1 this season and have gone 5-1-1 over their last seven matches. Detroit is 2-4-1 this year, while Valparaiso is 3-1-4.
    •    CSU won its lone match last week, defeating Eastern Kentucky, 4-0, on Friday night at Krenzler Field.
    •    Vickie Havas scored the first two goals, while Erin O'Toole and Sarah Kaiser also scored goals. Kelcey Fischer, Chloe Fadenholz, Payton Lewis, Haleigh Shingary and Havas all had assists.
    •    It was the third straight shutout for CSU and fourth overall this year.
    •    This is the second time in school history that CSU has posted three straight shutouts. The last time coming in 2010 when CSU blanked Gannon, Kent State and UMKC from Aug. 27-Sept. 3.
    •    CSU has not allowed a goal in 298 consecutive minutes, the last goal coming on Sept. 7 by Kent State in the 82nd minute.
    •    Over the last seven matches, the Vikings posted a 5-1-1 record, outscoring the opposition, 19-3.
    •    CSU's 19 goals this year are just six shy of tying the school record for goals in a season (25) set in 2011.
    •    With two goals and an assist vs. Eastern Kentucky, Vickie Havas moved into second place on the CSU all-time list in goals (15) and points (40).
    •    Havas is four goals shy of tying Natalie Daniels (19 goals; 2008-11) for most career goals by a Viking.
    •    Amanda Sivic is tied for second in the league with four goals. With nine goals in her two seasons a CSU, Sivic is tied for sixth in program history.
    •    Elise Sailors leads the team and ranks second in the league with three assists this year.
    •    The Vikings have had 11 different players score a goal this year. A total of 15 different players have recorded at least one point.
    •    CSU is back in action at Milwaukee next Saturday (Oct. 4) at 5:00 p.m. EST.
