CLEVELAND, Ohio - A total of five members from the Cleveland State women's soccer team were named to the College Sports Madness Preseason All-Horizon League team that was announced on Wednesday morning.

Junior Vickie Havas earned a spot on the first team, while seniors Amanda Sivic and Shea Levi and juniors Sarah Wood and Chloe Fadenholz were named to the second team.

Havas, who was a first team All-Horizon League selection at the end of the 2013 season, ranked sixth in the league in goals (7) and points (18) and eighth in assists (4) last year. In two seasons at CSU, Havas is third in school history in goals (12) and points (33) and fourth in assists (9).

Sivic will enter her second season at CSU after transferring in from Dayton last year. She was one of the most dangerous players up front in the league, ranking eighth in goals (5) and assists (4) and ninth with 14 points.

Levi enters her final season at CSU and has been a mainstay in the midfield during her time with the Vikings. A member of the Horizon League All-Newcomer team as a freshman, she has tallied three goals and three assists in her career.

Wood had one of the best seasons for a CSU netminder last year, leading the league and ranking 13th in the country with 120 saves. A two-time Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week last year, Wood also ranked 15th in the country in saves per game (7.06) and 21st in save percentage (.851). She notched 5.5 shutouts, helping the CSU defense allow just 22 goals, the second fewest in a season in program history.

Fadenholz has started 32 of the 34 matches she has played in during her career, splitting time at defense and midfield. She has two goals and one assist for her career.

The Vikings, who began preseason training with a session on Wednesday morning, will host Buffalo for an exhibition match on Tuesday (Aug. 12) at 2:00 p.m. at Krenzler Field.
