Cleveland State Women's Soccer 10-Year Anniversary Team

The Cleveland State women's soccer team is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a program in 2013. Over the last 10 years, many players have helped build the program from the ground up. Throughout the month of September, CSU will celebrate 11 of the top players who have been part of the program. The players will be announced in alphabetical order beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and continue on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the month.

PLAYER #8

ALLIE RICZO • 2006-10 • M • SEVEN HILLS, OHIO

Allie Riczo was one of the top all-around players and best leaders to come through the women's soccer program.

After lettering as a freshman in 2006, Riczo took a redshirt season in 2007 after an injury before earning three more letters (2008-10).

Riczo began her career as a defender, but moved to the midfield midway through her freshman year and became a mainstay in the CSU midfield. She played in 79 matches - which is still a CSU career record - with 75 starts, tied for the second most in program history.

Riczo tallied three goals in her career, including a pair of tallies in a 3-1 win over Canisius on Sept. 5, 2010. She is one of just seven players in program history to score multiple goals in a game.
