Cleveland State Women's Soccer 10-Year Anniversary Team

The Cleveland State women's soccer team is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a program in 2013. Over the last 10 years, many players have helped build the program from the ground up. Throughout the month of September, CSU will celebrate 11 of the top players who have been part of the program. The players will be announced in alphabetical order beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and continue on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the month.

AMBER RASMUSSEN • 2004-07 • D • NORTH BLOOMFIELD, OHIO

Amber Rasmussen is the last of the three players on the 10 year anniversary team who was part of the inaugural season at Cleveland State in 2004.

A member of the Horizon League All-Newcomer team as a freshman, Rasmussen concluded her career with five goals and three assists and is tied for eighth in CSU history in career goals scored.

Her 77 games played are third most in program history, while her 74 games started are tied for fourth.

Rasmussen holds the distinction of scoring the fastest goal in school history, tallying a goal just 13 seconds into a match against Indiana State on Sept. 22, 2006.
