Cleveland State Women's Soccer 10-Year Anniversary Team

The Cleveland State women's soccer team is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a program in 2013. Over the last 10 years, many players have helped build the program from the ground up. Throughout the month of September, CSU will celebrate 11 of the top players who have been part of the program. The players will be announced in alphabetical order beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and continue on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the month.

PLAYER #4

NATALIE DANIELS • 2006-09 • M • OLYMPIA, WASH.

Natalie Daniels is the most decorated player to come through the CSU program in the first 10 years.

A four-time All-Horizon League selection, Daniels earned first team honors as a junior and senior after being named to the second team as a freshman and sophomore. She was a member of the Horizon League All-Newcomer team as a freshman. In addition, Daniels was a first team All-Ohio pick as a senior after earning second team honors as a junior.

Daniels concluded her career with 19 goals, 19 assists and 37 points, all marks that are still tops in the CSU record books today. She also holds program records for career shots (177) and shots on goal (99). Daniels started all 74 matches she played in, ranking fourth in career starts at CSU.

Her best season came in 2010 when she set the CSU single season record with nine goals and 23 points. Her six assists in both 2008 and 2011 are the second most in a season at CSU, while her five assists in 2010 rank fourth.

She is the only player in program history to record a multi-goal game and a multi-assist game and is one of just two players to have at least two assists in multiple contests.
