Kettering, OH-The Cleveland State women's golf team sits in ninth place after the opening 36 holes at the Dayton Flyer Invitational. The Vikings sit at 61-over par through two rounds.

Abby Blackburn, playing as an individual, was the highest finisher on day one for the Vikings. She sits in a tie for 29th place at 11-over par. Blackburn carded a 5-over 75 in the opening round, followed by a 6-over 76 in the second round. The two scores are her lowest in her CSU career.

Kaitlin Kormuth is tied for 39th through two rounds at 13-over par. Kormuth posted an 8-over 78 in the first round and improved by three strokes in the afternoon, finishing at 5-over 75 for the second 18.

Mandie Ruminski is one shot back at 14-over par in a tie for 42nd place. Ruminski carded a 4-over 74 in the opening round, the lowest round of the day for a CSU player, before posting a 10-over 80 in round two.

Brynna Mardis is tied for 53rd at 18-over par, and Olivia Swain is tied for 59th at 20-over. Kaylin Kline, playing as an individual, is in 68th place at 34-over par.
