
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Cleveland State's Madison Butler took home a share of the individual championship while Sabrina Coffman added a third-place finish as the CSU women's golf program concluded the regular season with a second-place showing at the Youngstown State Spring Invite at the Youngstown Country Club on a windy Friday.
Butler paced the group and tied for the tournament title with a 7-over performance. It was her third top-10 finish of the Spring season.
Coffman was right behind with an 8-over showing of her own to place in a tie for third overall. The performance was her third top-five and fourth top-10 finish this Spring.
Meg Rossouw (11-over), Amanda Ruminski (14-over) and Lexi Knight (17-over) rounded things out for the Vikes in ninth, and ties for 12th and 17th, respectively.
Olivia Swain also took to the course as an individual and claimed 10th overall at 12-over.
The Vikings will now fully turn their attention to the championship season as the group prepares for the Horizon League Championships, set for Sunday, April 24 through Tuesday, April 26 at the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Hower-in-the-Hills, Fla.
